What is a Tattoo Ceremony ?
A tattoo ceremony is a more intentional and mindful way of receiving a tattoo.
Rather than a quick, purely aesthetic appointment, the process becomes a space to slow down, connect, and bring deeper meaning to the piece you’re choosing to carry on your body.
We begin by taking time to explore your intention in the Tune-in appointment — what this tattoo represents for you, what you’re moving through, or what you’re calling in. This can be something deeply personal, symbolic, or simply a feeling that you want to anchor into your life.
From there, the tattooing itself becomes part of the ritual. The pace is slower, especially with handpoke, allowing you to stay present with each mark. Many people describe it as meditative, grounding, and even emotional in a positive way.
Depending on your preferences, the ceremony also include elements like energy cleansing, guided meditations, Sacred oils, or working with specific tools such as crystal handpoke handles. These are always optional and guided by what feels right for you.
At its core, a tattoo ceremony is about creating a meaningful experience—not just a tattoo. It’s a way to mark a moment, honour a transition, or carry something intentional with you, long after the session is complete.
